Lens Village review #1

Hi cuties,
Here is my product review for Lens Village

Today I'm going to be reviewing 2 contact lenses from Lens Village.
The contact lenses I chose to review are:

"EOS WM-101 Bubble Blue 14.8mm" which can be found here: Bubble Blue Lens
and
"EOS Dark Ice Violet 2 Tones" which can be found here: Dark Ice Violet

From requesting the lenses that I wanted to review to receiving the package in the mail...It only took about 1-2 weeks which is above average postage time from overseas to Australia.

When I received the package, there was no damage to the outside or inside and everything was wrapped neatly and securely.

The lenses were kept in their typical lens vials and to my surprise they also included THE CUTEST lens cases. Omg the little piggies and elephants are TOO cute. ((I was almost more excited about them over the lenses eep)).

Now onto the contact lenses themselves
Both lenses are true to description, vibrant, are comfortable and fit well.

Here are some pics of me wearing the blue lenses:

Here are some pics of me wearing the violet lenses:

I loved wearing both, they really draw a lot of attention to your eyes and make them "pop". I'd have to say my favourite were the violet lenses, they make me feel like a lil fairy hehe. The only downside are I wish the lenses would go closer to the pupil, but maybe I'm just purchasing the wrong type of lenses...

Overall, I highly recommend Lens Village to anyone that is after a wide range of interesting and colourful lenses at affordable prices.
I will definitely be purchasing from Lens Village in the future !!

Brave Store Review #1

Hi everyone, time for my second product review!

Today I'm going to be reviewing an item from Brave Store on Storenvy
The item I chose was the "Kitty Ears Headband" which can be found here

The headband comes in a choice of gold or silver with either pearls or rhinestones. For this review I chose the headband in silver with rhinestones.

From placing my order to receiving it in the mail, it took about 4-5 weeks to arrive. Considering that the store is based in the same country that I live (Australia), I was expecting a much faster shipping time of 1-2 weeks.

When I received the package in the mail, the outside and inside was undamaged and in good condition. (The tear in the top right corner was from me hehe). The product was packaged in plastic which was simple and effective.

Now on to the product itself.
The headband is a good size, all the rhinestones were attached and in place and it fit snugly on my head. However, after a while the headband does create some pressure and gets a bit uncomfortable due to the metal and firmness.

Wearing the headband, I felt so kawaii and I'm sure I will add this into a lot of my outfits!
Overall, I'm really pleased with this product, the customer service and communication in the lead up to the product being sent out.

In the past, I have bought from Brave Store and I definitely will continue to do so.
If you would like to purchase the Kitty Ears Headband or other kawaii items from Brave Store, I definitely recommend doing so.

1st Instagram Giveaway

For those that are following me on Instagram, you'll know that I'm currently holding a giveaway.

I wanted to have a giveaway in celebration of reaching 3k followers and to also thank everyone for following me and for their continuous support and kind words on my photos.

I wanted my giveaway to have a general "kawaii", "anime" and "cosplaying" theme throughout all the items which is the main focus of my Instagram account. I also know that the majority of my followers on Instagram are into anime, cosplaying and Japanese culture and food, so it seemed fitting.

The purpose of this blog post is to document my first giveaway so I can compare it to future giveaways. I also wanted to provide my followers with links and info to various sites in case they would like to purchase any of the giveaway items in the future.

So firstly, here's a picture of all the giveaway items together:

The items include:
  • Unisqo pink circle lenses
  • Unisqo black circle lenses
  • Strawberry flavoured Pocky
  • Hello Kitty chocolate Yo-Bo
  • Strawberry flavoured Yan-Yan
  • Hazelnut flavoured Yan-Yan
  • Blueberry flavoured Ramune
  • Hello Kitty strawberry Ramune
  • Pokemon chopsticks with case
  • White and pink kitty cosplay paws
  • Pikachu - Pokemon pillow

The following includes links and info to each of the giveaway items:

Unisqo pink circle lenses: $22.90 and can be purchased here
Unisqo black circle lenses: $17.90 and can be purchased here
White and pink kitty paws: $9.49 and can be purchased here

For the Japanese candy, drinks and chopsticks, I purchased them all from Asian Food Grocer

They have an amazing selection of Japanese/Asian candy, food, drinks and household items at affordable costs...However when creating my giveaway , I hadn't realized the shipping costs would be so expensive...Shipping ended up being around $60, not including the food and drinks.

For those of you wanting Japanese food and candy, I recommend looking elsewhere, unless you can afford to pay the high shipping costs.

The Pikachu - Pokemon pillow was given to me as a gift from a friend a few years ago...I'm not too sure where they purchased it from. However, upon doing a quick Google search, I found one for sale here

Lastly, here's a quick video for a better look at all the giveaway items:

I just wanted to thank everyone that has taken the time to read this and to those that have participated in my giveaway. I'm sorry that there is only one winner, I wish I could give this prize to everyone. I will be having more giveaways with great prizes in the future, possibly once I reach 5 or 6k followers on Instagram...So stay tuned for that!

Eyebrow Tutorial

An eyebrow tutorial was requested a few weeks ago on Ask.fm, so I thought I'd post it here also!
I have based the instructions off the collage picture below, moving horizontally throughout.

For my eyebrows I use Rimmel eyebrow pencil in hazel and black-brown.

  1. Start off with a clean and neat eyebrow
  2. Using the lighter colour, square off your eyebrow, make sure not to go too far in otherwise it'll look silly.
  3. Draw a line from the start of your eyebrow running along the bottom up until the highest point.
  4. Fill in your eyebrow lightly up until the tail area.
  5. Lightly draw the tail (this will be gone over later)
  6. Using the darker colour, draw a line along the bottom from the start to the highest point.
  7. Fill in your eyebrow with the darker colour leaving a space at the start for the lighter colour to show creating a light to dark blended look. Fill in up to the tail.
  8. Use the darker colour to go over the tail and then thicken up the space in between the middle-end and the tail. Neaten up.

I hope you all enjoyed my eyebrow tutorial.
If you want any other make up or hair tutorials in the future, feel free to suggest in the comments below or on ask.fm!

Sweetbox Review #1

Hi cuties and welcome to my blog!
I wanted to create a blog for reviews from stores that I'm promoting and for possible OOTD/make up tutorials etc. posts in the future.

Here is my first review, I hope you enjoy my blog (。´∀`)οΎ‰

Sweetbox contacted me a month ago asking if I'd like to promote their store and in return I'd be sent items to review. From my experiences so far, there's been nothing but excellent customer service and communication.

The first item I chose to review was a grey Totoro cloak:

The store is based in Hong Kong so it took about 2-3 weeks to arrive. This is the usual postage time to Australia. When it arrived there was no damage to the item or the packaging which was good.

Now onto the item itself. I chose this Totoro cloak because it was too cute to resist! The material is amazing, it feels so soft and cuddly. It's incredibly comfortable to wear around the house and you could even wear it out if you wanted to. The face and body detailing is really nice and the arm and neck button clips are quite secure and they all work.
My favourite part about the Totoro cape is that it has whiskers on the hood! How cute!
If you wanted your own Totoro cloak or any other cute items of clothing or accessories...Head on over to Sweetbox and don't forget to use the code: "sweetbox" for 10% off!
